Chairman's Note

China Agri-Industries Holdings Limited is the flagship company of COFCO Group in the food and processing industry. Since its inception two years ago, the company has moved steadily towards its goal of becoming the leader of the industry. All its subsidiaries have reported healthy growth in terms of revenues and profitability, which serves to underline the dynamics of the company’s corporate development. The company’s progress not only has greatly enhanced the development of COFCO Group, but also empowered the Group’s drive to extend its core grain trading business into the growth area of food processing operation. The impressive progress made by the COFCO Group in the past few years would not have been nearly possible without the tremendous contribution of the group of dedicated staff at China Agri-Industries Holdings Limited - a group we like to call “Team 606”. Team 606 is a group of deeply passionate, always professional and ever responsible individuals. They have an incredibly strong sense of mission and have practiced such excellent teamwork throughout the years. They have shown the rest of us the unlimited potential that is capable when a group of talented people works so dedicatedly together.  Although China Agri-Industries Holdings Limited has come across its share of challenges as it continues to grow, I am confident that Team 606 will do everything in their capacity to overcome them, and lay the foundation for our next stages of progress and growth.
