COFCO Industry (Luohe) CO. Ltd. held a foundation ceremony for the second wheat processing line with a capacity of 800 tons. The project is expected to be completed by the construction by May 2010 and it will become the largest production line for snacks and biscuits in the Central China.

                                  

After the completion and the commencement of production, the total capacity for wheat processing of COFCO Industry (Luohe) will reach 400,000 tons. This will fully satisfy the customers’ needs andfurther rationalize its strategic composition and its product structures. The capacity expansion will also facilitate the domestic industrialization upgrade and increase the farmers’ incomes by purchasing the produce there.

                                 

Municipal Government of Luohe gave prominence and support to the project. More then 300 representatives from the municipal government, grain bureau and clients attended the ceremony. Mr. Liu Shuren, Deputy General Manager of Wheat Processing Division, attended the ceremony.
